SCOUT 2.0 is a four-wheel-drive unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) built by AgileX Robotics as an open development platform for autonomous mobile robotics.
Each of the four wheels is driven independently and the double-wishbone suspension keeps all wheels in contact on uneven ground. The platform turns on the spot, climbs gradients of up to 30 degrees and clears obstacles of roughly 100 mm. With a payload of up to 50 kg it carries LiDAR units, cameras, GNSS and IMU sensors, industrial computers or a manipulator for mobile manipulation setups.
A CAN interface, power connectors, T-slot mounting profiles and an open SDK are provided for integrating custom control, perception and computing hardware. ROS and ROS 2 packages are published by the manufacturer. The platform is CE certified.
Options include a battery upgrade from 30 Ah to 60 Ah and IP44 / IP54 / IP64 protection upgrades.
Manufacturer: AgileX Robotics. Sales and support in the DACH region: PK Industrie GmbH, Aachen, Germany.
